FUNERAL SPEECH ON BEHALF OF L'AFRIKANA

Dear family, friends, and colleagues, We gather here today with heavy hearts to bid farewell to a remarkable man, a visionary leader, and our beloved Chairman, Mr. Salongo Msoshi Lokole Simbi. His sudden passing has left us in shock and sorrow, and as we stand here, we reflect on the immense impact he had on our lives, our organization, and our community.

Mr. Simbi was more than just a Chairman; he was a mentor, a guide, and a source of strength for all of us at L'Afrikana. He dedicated his life to the service of others, especially those who were marginalized and in need. His commitment to refugee rights and his relentless advocacy for education, empowerment, and dignity for all were the cornerstones of his leadership. Under his guidance, L'Afrikana flourished into an organization that not only provided services but also gave hope to those who had lost it. He believed in the power of unity, of coming together to create change, and he worked tirelessly to ensure that no one was left behind. His passion for social justice was evident in every decision he made and in every project he supported.

We will always remember his kindness, his humility, and his unwavering dedication to the cause. He had a unique ability to bring people together, to inspire, and to lead with compassion. His vision will continue to guide us as we move forward, carrying the torch that he lit so brightly. While we mourn his loss today, let us also celebrate his life—his legacy of service, his love for humanity, and the countless lives he touched. His memory will live on in the work that L'Afrikana does, in the hearts of those he helped, and in the vision he has left for us to carry forward. To his family, we extend our deepest condolences. Please know that we stand with you during this difficult time, and we share in your grief. Mr. Simbi was not just a leader to us, but a part of our family. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
